Wanted Cablenuts settings to increase internet speed
I am using CableNut for my broadband connection. I want to increase my speed and so would like to change the Cablenuts settings. I want to double my download and upload speeds. Is this possible? Can you provide me some settings for Cablenuts to increase speed?

CableNut is a tool for optimizing your Windows TCP/IP stack and thus your Internet Connection. Go to www.j79zlr.com/cablenutXP2k.php website and select your connection type or enter the MTU manually. Then provide your connections download, upload and latency information. On completion, click on "Compute Settings". You will be provided all the settings that you have to put on your CableNut.

To optimize your system to increase your internet:

1. Open CableNut.
2. Click on the File menu and choose Open Custom Settings File. Find your settings file saved on your computer and then click Open button.
3. A window will open up with all the parameters filled with your connection-specific information.
4. Click on Save to Registry button.
5. Restart your computer for settings to take effect.

Some DO's AND DON'Ts for CableNut

CableNut Won't Help:
Problematic connections, slow connections, heavily bandwidth limited connections, and congested connections.
People who do not want to learn, or who do not have respect for freeware software.
Latency, Ping, Response, Gaming Latency, and/or Uncapping.
Radio Frequency Signal, The phsyical network devices, and/or bandwidth limitations.
Already tweaked connections. Some TCP tweak programs are not optimal, but if you have applied a program like this don't expect any different results.

CableNut Will Help:
Connections that have normal bandwidth, latency, and network topology.
Configuration of optimal TCP parameters to ensure the most optimal speed over the TCP protocol.
An Operating System that is not already tweaked with a TCP "speed-up" application.
Small local networks connected to a broadband service.
A home user with broadband, or 56K access wanting to get a little more out of their connection.
Internet Explorer web browsing. CableNut sets specific values for optimal web browsing with the Internet Explorer client.
