Trading of virtual goods in World of Warcraft :Right or wrong?

Trading of virtual goods in World of Warcraft :Right or wrong?
I have read in one of the article that it has become a common practice for Chinese to force prisoners to play online games to make money. Detainees were forced to make virtual money in online games like World of Warcraft for the benefit of prison guards. The guards would then use the virtual cash for their own means, including trading it for real-world money. The guards would then use the virtual cash for their own means, including trading it for real-world money. and that those who didn't raise enough virtual cash would be physically beaten. This article shows how pathetic society has become. However, some would argue that Virtual Goods Trading is justified, as some people depend their living on virtual goods trading.
So, what do YOU guys think?
Is Virtual Goods Trading right or wrong?

Its unbelievable that a prison guard could make $1000 a day and don’t get noticed by authorities , I don't do gold farming but I'm not against it either. Regardless, the way these prisoners are being forced to do this is inhuman and can't be condoned by anyone.

I have no problem with these kind of virtual goods being traded. I think the prisoner should have a choice. If I was in prison I would like to play video games in there as opposed to sitting in a cell. I know they force them to do hard work, but to force them to do something which only benefits the guards is disgusting. And I don’t think so one should insist on playing games for others benefit.

At first I also thought it must be a fun playing video games , but it really sounds worst because they are forced to play the games which some might not know or not might be interested. But after a day of hard work if desired quotas are not met they brutally beaten up,which probably is unrealistic .burdening them with video games can make it sound less bad, but it's still slave work.

I agree with you. If they weren't forced to do it, that would be okay with me. However, since they are forced to gold farm after a day of hard labour, that seems wrong to me, especially since they don't keep the profit.

As for trading virtual goods, we know people barter things all the time. If I was buying a virtual good from another player, I would want to make sure they are not forced labor but its always not possible to see who is opposite person. As we all know China is known for their human rights abuses and also forcing people to make toys.

I have made a few thousands from this online trading virtual goods but earned it by playing myself and not by any other outside force. And I agree that some people do make living by virtual trading goods, but I am always against for trading goods which is done forcibly.
