Unable to open new tab in Internet Explorer 7
Hello,

Earlier i had IE6 installed on my computer, but i searched that IE7 provides the compatibility to provide opening multiple tab in the same window,eventhough it is good functionality i am not able to perform that in my computer.

This is very strange from my point of view,that this thing should be happened,How do i get rid of this problem.

I have tried following these steps Try this:

click Tools - Manage Add-ons... - Enable or Disable Add-ons...

just disable all the add-ons that are "currently being used by Internet Explorer": click each add-on and click disable radio button at the bottom (you can enable them at any time)

click OK - you may be prompted to restart Internet Explorer

when you open back IE, you should see your "tabs" working when you right-click a hyperlink

the key is, keep enabling each (or group of) add-ons, and check until you find the add-on which stops you using the tabs.

Just go into Add Ons and disable Windows Live Toolbar and Windows Live Toolbar Helper

This is all you need do. I have been using ie7 for as long as it's been available and this is very recent behavior. I noticed it when links in one browser window would request a new tab and that tab wouldn;t open. Then it would require the task manager to close the iexplore process. I recently did a group of updates so I am sure it is related to that. Now everything is fine.
