Error 008 - Unable to add attachments in Gmail

Error 008 - Unable to add attachments in Gmail
Hi,

From past two months, I can no more add attachments in gmail. In
Internet explorer I get the Error 008.

The problem is only with my own computer, I can get attachments from another computer. I had my computer just a few months, running with vista. The problem is not with gmail, but somewhere in the settings of my computer.

Know someone advice?

Hi,


Have you tried the following things, If not then try:
- Try Gmail secure mode
- Turns off the Anti-virus
- check the Firewall settings
- Try other browser

Hi,

I had been using IE7 since long, however it only happens with long emails as well as attachments. it did happen to me at Yahoo as well, but when I use firefox it works well. Does anyone knows the reason.

Hi,

Large gmail attachments creates problems over 3MB. You should try using YouSendIt, to send large files or FTP Replacement by using Gmail account.
