Batman: Arkham City save data is corrupted on PS3.
I am being playing Batman: Arkham City and was enjoying it. However I am experiencing with the saving issue. I can’t save the game, and when it makes the option for me to save, it does but at the time of opening back it does not. Please, suggest some guidelines.

I must recommend trying some of the following: according to me save games that got corrupted due to some issue cannot be repaired. I will recommend for you to try loading a different kind of save game previous to the earlier one to see if it can solve the issues to some extent.

If you are able to Try some tips , you can be able to prevent the problem from occurring again.
I would advise to make constant or regular saves and can also try for an alternate save game slots. This can be a great method where all your levels which you have played can be saved.

When you are making a backup for this, at the time when the file goes bad or corrupt, the recently saved games will be of more use. But it is possible at the time when you have played the game normally and not due to Cheat codes. It will not enable to make the recent game play if it is saved through the Cheat code.

the next option would be just copying some save games to a memory card every day so as to keep a backup when it happens and situation comes at the time when Playstation hard drive fails.

when there is no longer use and you don’t make use of more often or frequently any save files or games from your Play station hard drive, try to delete them. The system's hard disk is the place where Saved data for PLAYSTATION®3 format software is saved. The data is showed under the Saved Data Utility.

But the special note everyone here will be going to take is that, Saved data is been managed separately by each user. If the existing users are more than one or simply saying multiple users, the items which will be able to display under Saved Data Utility are going to vary depending on the user who is logged in.

While playing in between, and when you have completed the task or level, you save in your game menu, or it will do give a prompt for saving. At this time you need to save the game to continue to the next level. Later when you are not interested in playing game that time and shut done it will save the game up till that level. So later on when you will switch back to your game you wont start it from the first. It will prompt you for starting from the saved level or other options.

For all users I will suggest you that if you want to continue the game from the played one, you need to save it appropriately with your name or a level name like that. So see to it that you save the game. I can say that after saving it is not allowing starting from the desired level and starting from the initial. So check for the saved menus as I think if there is everything good, means if there is a good installation of the game taken place, you can find the saved game there.

You will find all your saved themes and levels in the c folder where the game is installed. Check the root directory of the game, and if there exists, the names of the games which you saved, then you can find the same in the game menu.

if you are supposed to play game in pc then Check in the My documents folder of your system where you will find the saved games, and can make out whether something has gone wrong.
