Track movement through a camera
Hello community,
As you all may be aware that there are technologies out there that track movements through a camera. Lately, I have been thinking about how can we track my finger movement through a camera? I have seen videos of this but could not figure out how could it be done. I believe Sony is going use the same technology to create new console to compete with Nintendo Wii. It has a camera and track a remote with a red light on it.
Any videos or links are welcome and all kind of info is appreciated.
Thanks

Can be possible with the cv.jit.track. This is not the difficult but need more work . It requires to compute the homography matrix starting from the point that is original tracking position. This perform well if you r camera is flat plane. It is easier if you keep some kind of the sensors on the camera to get the effect of the same.
