Which game engine will be used in Syndicate?

Which game engine will be used in Syndicate?
I wanted to talk about the game engine of Syndicate game. according to me the shooting mechanics is same as that of Battlefield 3. It is giving me feeling of that it is running on Frostbite 2. Can you confirm the same? if you are having any idea on the same then feel free to post over here.

It could be possible that the game is running on Frostbite 2 engine. Because frostbite is on EA or Dice who are publishing the game. as far as EA involved it is likely that we are having above mentioned game engine.

The Colorpalette is reminding me the of BF3 and gunplay is giving me feeling of BC2. However both the games are running on the FrosBite. The EA is publishing both the game as it is has been already mentioned there are great chances to have FrostBite. Also EA is not having their own game engine. I am not sure about the same but it’s just a speculation.

According to me they are going to provide the Starbreeze engine. Since Starbreeze has been brought the license for you. so far they have not used any external engines for any of the games which they have developed. It is making use of GL on the computer . this games is looking quite good when you are playing on the gaming consoles.

There are people who are saying that it is using Unreal 3 engine but I don’t agree with them because they are going to use that in the future games.

I have not found anything similar to Battlefield 3 and I am wondering that game seems to be similar to Crysis. As far as the game engine is concerned it will be same as that for Chronicles of Riddick games and Darkness. Well I am assuming that. However I am sure about that it is not having the frostbite engine since they have not taken any licenses for the game engine.
