I have reserved my copy of Showtime today because I am confused which one choose The Sims 3 Showtime or the Sims 3 Showtime Katy Perry Collector's Edition. I just need to know what the different is between choose The Sims 3 Showtime and the Sims 3 Showtime Katy Perry Collector's Edition. Can anyone help on this.

What is supposed to be in The Sims 3 Showtime:
Sports: football, basketball, tennis and golf;
Clubs: gardening, cooking, painting and Country Club;
New objects: ping-pong, water slides for the pool, hammock, etc.
Buildings ("rabbit hole"): the zoo or the circus;
Public areas: water park and an outdoor movie theater.

The Sims 3 Showtime and the Sims 3 Showtime Katy Perry Collector's Edition: One of the most important and controversial new game elements Showtime SimPort course. SimPort is the online social media part of The Sims 3: Showtime and if you have friends who also are fans of The Sims 3 is a nice addition. With SimPort you can send your Sims on tour in the games of your friends, making your Sim not only earn money and experience, but also stamps. The stamps arrive in your SimPort and if you have a page full then you'll unlock a reward. At the moment you or one of your friends sends a request to go on tour, then that invitation still be accepted by the receiving party. There will not simply foreign Sims walk around in your game. SimPort is entirely optional and not required to play and enjoy The Sims 3: Showtime. It is, however, that certain objects you cannot get if you do not use SimPort.

i love katy Perry, the material that comes with looks funky my kind of thing, but everyone has different tastes. even though i think they are leaving the pets out, they should make them costumes that be cute and fun.

I would get the Katy Perry version just because I get more stuff. I don't like her but I like having more to choose from.

In addition to the Katy Perry themed Collector’s Edition, When pre-ordered, these products feature the Ultimate Stage bonus venue and on this player can place fully customizable venue in their world and will be able to use it additional change in the world and you will able to use t as an additional stage for their Sims to perform on,in-game props, backgrounds, lights and special effects. i would like to go with the Sims 3 Showtime Katy Perry Collector's Edition. because this has lots of good and additional features.
