If this is the problem from yahoo then 1 week is too long time, i think either you making mistakes in adding contacts or Contacts are miss spell. verify contacts before sending the email . All email contacts must be separated by commas before sending.

Re: Problem Sending an email to several people?
I'm also using yahoo mail, but no issue to send email to multiple contacts at same time, If it persists, when you're on your mail, click on "Help", and bottom of the page that opens, you will find a link to contact the technical service.
I guess that's a problem with Yahoo, so it is better to ask them.

Have you try by suing CC? when you enter the address of the recipient, instead of putting them on the field, you put them in the Bcc field, this way nobody will know what are the other recipients.
The CC box is a copy of the mail and the recipient will be visible. The Bcc box is a blind copy, and no one can what are the other recipients.

To send an email to several people, you simply write each address of recipients separate by a semicolon.
If for example you want to write Aunt Gilberte (tante.gilberte@something.com), Aunt Raymonde(tante.raymond@xyz.com) and Aunt Maryvonne (tante.maryvonne@tata.com), you should write in the field A/To :
