Need help with Remote control batarang in Batman: Arkham City
I have recently started playing Batman: Arkham City and just to make you understand you situation, I am in the steel mill where I am getting to get the cure off the joker and here there is a need to use the remote control baturangin order to open the gates. I have also tried to hit the switch several times but then it is not working. So I just wanted to know that what I should do to open the gates. Any help regarding this will be highly appreciated.

Yes hitting the switch won’t work and trying to open the gate in that way is a wrong method, actually you will have to make it go through the electricity and after that you have to hit the switch and then you will be able to open the gate without any problem. Just try to do it the way I told and then check if you are able to open the gate or not and let me now if you have any problem further so I can help you with it. Best of luck.

Even I need help with the remote control batarang and it is that I am not able to use the remote control batarang and I am getting a message which says that it is unlocked in waynetech but then when I am clicking on the d-pad down-left then is not poping up. Is there anyone who can help me out with this? Any suggestion regarding this will be appreciated.

First of all I will like to inform you that you will have to buy the remote-control batarang when you enter the next EXP level and without that even if you will click on the d-pad down-left you won’t be able to get it so first but it and after that to use it you will have to aim it first and then hold L1 and fire it with R1 and if you want then you can use either of the analog stick you may not be able to control it well in the starting but then after getting used to it you will be able to use it well. Yes controlling it is quite difficult as even I have started playing the Batman: Arkham City recently and I am really messing up with the remote control Batarang. The problem that I am facing is that when I am trying to get riddled trophy 36 in the courthouse basement and when I am trying to use it through the electrical field then it is appearing to be impossible for me. I don’t think that I am missing anything I have also found that when I am going outside and then trying to toss it then it becomes very difficult to control. So I just wanted to know if there is any trick to get it work and control it nicely or I will have to just wait for the upgrade till then. Any help will be appreciated.

Yes it is quite uncomfortable for the new ones to deal with it but then I will also like to inform you that you can change the controls for it. So just go in to the controls options and after that just invert the control will take the where pressing down will take the remote control Batarang up and pressing up will take it down respectively and for the start I will like to suggest that try to throw it around a bit and after that when you think that you have learnt it well then you can look for a thug and then try to hit him from a distance and you can even control its speed a bit, Even I was not aware of the same but then later I have found that Left trigger slows it down where as the right trigger speeds it up and if by mistake if you will press both of them at the same time then it will just take a quick you turn and I think that it is very helpful when you have to charge the remote control Batarang. Just try to use it in the way I have said and then after some tries you will definitely have a good control on it.

Hey thanks to you all for your information and more thanks to daksha90 because I have tried to follow the above method and I think that I am doing quite well now and I have also opened the gates without any problem. Really thanks for sharing this.
