Click Start> Control Panel> Network Connection Click the right mouse button on the connection in question, then [Properties] tab In the frame, select "Internet Protocol (TCP / IP)" then properties If the bubble "obtain an IP address automatically" is checked, but you still have this problem check the bubble "Use the following IP address" Enter the IP address eg 192.168.1.12. Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway = 192.168.1.1 Reply With Quote #3 Old 17-12-2011 Suigetsu Suigetsu is offline Member Join Date: Mar 2011 Posts: 435 Re: Unidentified Network and IP Address Conflict bug in windows Vista to solve this issue you need to Change TCP/IP settings. to do this go through the below steps: go to the start and after that click on the control panel. now on the control panel go to the Network and Internet and then click on the Network and Sharing Center. now on the Network and Sharing Center go to the Manage network connections. now here make right click on the connection that you want to change and after that select the properties. go to the network tab and under that click on the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and then choose the Properties. To specify IPv4 IP address settings you need to go through the below steps: make click on the Obtain an IP address automatically to obtain automatically. i hope this will help you to solve the issue.
