My Internet Explorer crashes with Windows Live Hotmail.

My Internet Explorer crashes with Windows Live Hotmail. Hey guys! Everything was working fine with my Windows7 and Internet explorer until my last update. Ever since, when I am viewing my email in Windows Live Hotmail, it spontaneously freezes and I receive the message “Program is not responding.” To make things worse, I lose all the pages open on my browser and I just can’t explain how irritating it gets and what trouble I am driven into. I need help; an immediate one! Reply With Quote #2 Unread 22-03-2012 KirtiPatel KirtiPatel is offline Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Posts: 280 Re: My Internet Explorer crashes with Windows Live Hotmail. Relax! I am not sure how to go about with solving your primary issue. I’ll definitely do some research at my end and update you accordingly. But, I can help you out with a temporary cheat. Till I or other forum-mates come up with a solution, use it. Whenever you open your mail, open it in a new window and keep all other pages in another. So, even if the system crashes, you’ll have rest of the pages open. I appreciate your effort in helping me. And trust me it did reduce an amount of frustration. But, I can’t really continuing doing this forever. Please come up with a solution ASAP! Since, you mentioned it started after installing an update. Try restoring your system. Allow me to help you with it: 1. Click Start 2. Click All Programs 3. Click Accessories 4. Click System Tools 5. Click System Restore. 6. The System Restore user interface should appear. 7. Click Next. 8. From the restore points available, select an appropriate restore point before problem occurred and click Next. 9. Click Next again. The restore process will run and your system will restart automatically. This would be enough. Considering the magnitude of your problem, I don’t think you should be taking such a long route. I had this same issue and I discovered the problem was Microsoft Silverlight. So, all you got to do to solve this ‘FRUSTRATING’ issue of yours is: Uninstall Microsoft Silverlight. That’s all you need to do. Reply With Quote
