Sonic Generations crashing on load

Sonic Generations crashing on load
I am big fond of video games. Recently I have downloaded and installed Sonic Generations on the computer of mine. Well this particular game is seems to be crashing at the time of launching and I am not able to figure out whether there is an issue with the game or there is something wrong with the computer of mine. I am not able to figure out why the above mentioned issue is happening. Any help to meet the requirement of mine will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Looking at the matter I am asking following questions which you should answer.
Which operating system do you running?
What is the hard ware configuration of the computer?
Do you have installed all the necessary drivers on the computer? Let me know whether you have installed any security software?

In this particular situation I recommend that you should try to launch the game as administrator of the computer.
Well I am suggesting that you should search the exe file of the game and right click on it and then you have to click on the Run as Administrator and see what happens.

Well I am suspecting that there is compatibility issue with the game and operating system which you have installed on the computer.

To fix the matter I recommend that you should right click on the exe file of the game and click on Properties from the right click Context menu.

Now click on the Compatibility tab and choose the appropriate option and see whether it is working or not.

I am not sure but you have to see that there could be an issue with the back ground process which are interfering with the game. so I am suggesting that you should clean boot the system and find out the process which is causing and disable the same.

I think you need to check the integrity of the game cache. You have to use the following instruction to do the same.
You have to load Steam.
Now you have to click on the Library Section and right click on the same and go for Properties.
Now you have to click on the Local Files and click on the Verify integrity of the game cache.
You have to wait till the process gets completed and see whether it is working or not.

Do you have installed any security software on the computer? If so than I recommend that you should simply disable the same and see whether you are able to see any difference into the situation.

There could be an issue with the user profile which you are having on the computer. If so I am suggesting that you should create a new user profile on the computer of yours and see whether you are able to play the game. if you are able to play the game then there was an issue with the user profile and hence I recommend that you should use the newly created user profile and delete the older one.

Well I am suspecting that there is an issue with the graphic card driver and DirectX which you have installed on the computer. I recommend that you should reinstall the same on the computer. If it is not helpful then I recommend that you should install the latest version of DirectX as well as graphic card driver on the computer. You have to restart the computer after installing the above mentioned software.

We know that this particular game is recently release and there are chances that this particular game might have bug issue. Well to fix the bug issue you need to contact the developer of the game and file a bug report to them. The developer of the game will work on the same and they will release the patch which you can download and install the same on the computer of yours.
