How to fix for Firefox memory leak on Windows?
Hi there, I am looking for the way to get rid of the memory leak of the Firefox that has been using the memory. When i minimize the window at that time the usage go down and when maximize the same goes on increasing so help me with How to fix for Firefox memory leak on Windows?. This can be solved with the help of the about:config window where you can make the changes. Just right click on the any of the area on the about:config page and click on the New->Boolean now type value text as "config.trim_on_minimize" and thats it. Now you will not get the problem of the memory leak that you are looking for.

Hey thanks for your reply but the problem is that i am not able to make the abouot:config page that is some new thing i have heard about. How to get into the about:config page and what is does. So tell me about the same and also let me know which add is suitable free up memory of the Firefox so that i can use the same.

about:config page is having all the setting of the Mozilla Firefox that has been used with the same. This page can be access by typing the "about:config" in the address bar of the Mozilla Firefox. And also let you use the same and make the changes according to your need. This page also lets the user to edit the behavior of the Browser. So make the changes according to your need.

There is an add on that will definitely work with the freeing up the memory and is known as the RAMBack. RAMBack will cause Firefox to issue an internal notification to free up memory that is otherwise held for performance purposes. Additional items will be hooked into this notification in the future. So download and work on the same.

To work with this add on you have to download and for that you have to follow the steps that i am giving you bellow.
Just start the Mozilla

Click on Tools
Click on Add on
Click on search box and type RAMBack
Click on Add to Firefox
Click on install
Restart Mozilla
Thats it!!!!!!
